My latest work features a pink Kimomo that I sources form Facebook Marketplace. I have appliqued some kitsch vintage images, using my usual method of backing them with applique webbing, ironing them on and them zig-zag stitching around the outside. I have then various sashiko templates to lay down the pattern for sashiko embroidery.
